1. When are the County Commission meetings held?

County Commission meetings are normally held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. The date and location could be subject to change. They are held in the following locations:

2. Where do I go to see an agenda of a Commission, Board or Committee?

The Nye County website does list a lot of Agendas for different Boards, Committee's and Commissions in the Meeting Center. A tab is shown on the left hand sign of the main page of the Nye County website for the "Meeting Center". Here is a link. Meeting Center

3. How do I obtain a copy of the County Commission agenda?

1. You can view a copy of the agenda on our website after 9:00 a.m. on the Thursday before a regular scheduled commission meeting.

2. A hard copy can be provided upon request from the County Manager's Office prior to the meeting. Copies are also available on the day of the County Commission meeting.

3. The agenda is also visibly posted at the following locations:

4. How do I sign up to speak at a County Commission meeting?

A person wishing to speak may fill out a Citizen Inquiry form for a general public comment or a Citizen Input form to comment on a specific agenda item. These forms are available at the viewing locations and they help facilitate the meeting by knowing how many citizens want to speak.
