The State has announced that all Nevadans aged 16 and older will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine starting APRIL 5th. However, the county provides Moderna vaccine, which can only be given to ages 18 and up. Check with your health care provider or local pharmacy for options.

The Nye County Department of Emergency Management is working with the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public and Behavioral Health, and Immunize Nevada to distribute COVID-19 vaccines throughout the County as they become available. The County and the State are identifying facilities that can properly stock, administer, and maintain COVID-19 vaccine and meet additional federal and state requirements. The County is working with State Health Officials on the limited weekly allocations.
